Cuarta jornada del Eurobasket (I). 07-09-07
Bien, arranca la segunda fase de este Eurobasket. Ahora los partidos se juegan únicamente en Madrid, a razón de 3 partidos por día (los 3 de cada grupo).
Hoy se han jugado los 3 del grupo E, el de España. Victoria de Rusia sobre Portugal y de Israel sobre Croacia (realmente sorprendentes los primeros). Y victoria de España contra Grecia (76 - 58). La selección ha jugado un partido serio, brillante a veces y espeso a otras, pero sin perder la actitud en ningún momento. De hecho, sin quitar ningún mérito a España, el rival de hoy no ha estado nada acertado. Y tampoco ha contribuido nada el conjunto de "ayuditas" por parte de los árbitros (técnica y antideportiva, ambas un tanto rigurosas). Si es que cuando las cosas son, SON. Como también lo era la falta a Rudy. Pero no se trata de compensar ni de intentar por todos los medios que el equipo local no se quede sin jugar la final. Pues el domingo, a ganar a Rusia y a ponernos primeros de gurpo. Aunque visto el grupo F, vete a saber qué sería lo más conveniente. Esto tiene un regusto a los JJOO de 2004: quedar primeros de grupo y enfrentarse a los cuartos del otro grupo, EEUU, para acabar perdiendo con ellos en cuartos.
